I'm just putting the final touches on some of Jared & Regan's wedding photos and I noticed a couple shots with some crazy sun flare. I love a good sun flare from time to time, can't beat it with a stick! Especially on a rainy day like this.

Stay dry friends.
To Life!

Just a couple shots from Jamie & Jessica's most excellent wedding at Christ the King Catholic Church a couple weeks ago. Such a great couple!

This first shot was just moments before the ceremony, Jamie was already getting emotional before he'd even seen her in the dress. keester.0001

A couple candid portraits just moments after the ceremony, which happened to be sunset!

Welp, I finally got back all my film scans from our trip to NYC and thought I'd share a few. As you can tell these aren't my typical look and feel. But thats for good reason, this trip was a vacation! The more I thought about this trip, I came to the realization that the last thing I wanted to do was carry around an expensive 15 pound camera. So I opted to go old school and document our trip with 3 different cameras. I used a couple medium format film cameras ,a Lubitel 166 and a Holga 120N, and of course the trusty iPhone3Gs. They are all pretty amazing, it was awesome to see this trip in such a different way. I love the way film has such a personality and these cameras bring out amazing grain, splashes of color and unique light leaks that make the frames really unique. There are a bajillion more to share someday, I think I shot almost 5 boxes of film! I have a personal gallery in the works where you'll see more of these show up soon! Hope you enjoy them!

To Life!

These are proof, out of many, that you are incredibly talented at your art. Wouldn't have wanted to spend my vacation with anyone else but you :)

Ok, so I enough of the previews. It's time to post a full wedding. James and Genevieve are an amazing couple. Genevieve first called me a few months before their wedding while she was working in San Diego and planning her wedding here in OKC. We were never able to have a consultation in the studio but we chatted on the phone a few times and once I heard their story I knew it would be an awesome wedding to be a part of. Boy was it! James and Genevieve both have such warm and accepting families, the whole day was just a blast! Not to mention, Genevieve's Dad performed and amazing folk medley for them during the reception. The number ended with an original song he'd written for her called "Genevieve". It was amazing, the whole place was singing along, it was such a powerful moment! It felt kinda like a movie actually. Make sure you check it out below along with some of my favorite dancing shots. The always amazing Groove Merchants had the whole place going till the wee hours.

Congrats again James & Genevieve. I'm so glad I was able to be there!! D3I_3035 _MG_9558 D3I_3477 D3I_3710 D3I_3766 JG1 jg2 D3I_4509 D3I_4680 JG3 D3I_4793 JG4 D3I_5069 D3I_5259 D3I_5236 _MG_9409 D3I_5654 D3I_5677 D3I_5713

Last weekend's wedding was in Ardmore at the Dornick Hills Country Club. We had all the elements for an awesome wedding. A beautiful location, great light and not to mention Kyle & Nikki who are so fun and genuine! It was an awesome trip all around. More to come from Nikki's bridal session and this amazing wedding day...
